Global Study: IILM mandates a 4-week global study in Germany, Canada, Finland, France or Spain. Career Mentoring

IILM is committed to maximize the value add to students from entry till exit. Keeping this in mind, IILM’s mentoring program is conceived to provide students with the necessary professional and personal skill sets that would make them competent in the rapidly changing business environment.

IILM has a robust placement cell called the Career Development Center (CDC) headed by a senior industry professional, and is well connected with different sectors of Industry. The principal focus of the Career Development Centre (CDC) at IILM is to foster Corporate Connect by facilitating industry engagement. It constantly engages with industry through various activities and mentors the students about choosing an appropriate career path. It renders outstanding placement support to students using well planned roadmap for review of career options, CV preparation, honing interview skills, and providing opportunities for summer internships, live projects, and mentoring by IILM alumni. The CDC, with the support of faculty mentors, prepares the students even on acquiring and demonstrating the right personality traits that are key to selection. 

Student Preparation: In order to prepare the students for the placement process we engage in the following activities -:

  • Courses curriculum: We have incorporated courses like Go to Market, Careers, Understanding job markets and organizations to orient students to the corporate world
  • Workshops: We conduct various workshops like communicating for success, resume building, industry specific and company specific workshops to enhance the skills for interviews and making students job ready.
  • Mock Interviews and group discussions: As a part of the mentoring process the faculty engages with students regularly and conducts mock interviews and group discussions.

Campus Life

IILM has 3 campuses that are centrally located in New Delhi, Gurugram and Greater Noida. But the goal driving them forward is one and the same – to train and develop skilled and responsible managers of the future. The Gurugram campus is located on Golf Course Road, in the heart of the industrial hub of Gurugram - an epicenter of industry as well as startups. Our students have the advantage of gaining the rich knowledge of business and entrepreneurship from their surroundings as well as our in-house incubation center.

In our effort to make education more affordable to students, we have made provisions for scholarships on the basis of merit and need. We also have partnerships with certain banks so as to make the procedure for application of loans a little easier for students.

Industry Interface : IILM institute aims to develop students’ career landscape by proactively addressing the industry requirement through identification of students’ talent base, and develop knowledge and skills that are valued by prospective employer. It not only aims to focus on the theory building but also on holistic development of students via varied activities such as summer internships, live projects, industrial visits, panel discussions, industry seminars, conference participation etc.


Classrooms: The campus has air-conditioned lecture theatres with network connectivity to facilitate presentations. These aesthetically designed semi-circular classrooms are spacious, airy, well lit and echo- proof to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Special emphasis has been laid on acoustics. Each classroom has revolving chairs with a seating capacity of 70 students.

Library and Information Center: Institute’s Library and Information Center (LIC) is a knowledge and learning center. This Well-equipped center is a storehouse of knowledge, which provides latest and up-to- date information to their wide range of end-users. The library has a collection of 15000 books which includes variegated material-from hard-core social and management science literature to applied socio-economic formulations, and relates both to theory articulation and skill development. Information technology infrastructure: The IT infrastructure at the institute includes -:

  • Netbooks / i-Pads - With a view to provide the best computing facility, every student and faculty member has a high end networked netbook or laptop or i-Pad at his or her disposal.
  • Computer Centre - The institute has a state-of-art computing facility consisting of 110 PC nodes.  
  • Auditorium - The institute has a modern state-of-the-art auditorium designed to seat around 150 people.

Courses Offered


PGDM programme at IILM aims at providing knowledge and skill set required to become an effective manager of the global economy. Students would learn how to create opportunities in this constantly changing business environment.

Our programme has integrated the best of management education to evolve an innovative and contemporary course structure. The programme tends to build a foundation for conceptual and analytical reasoning, thereby enabling students to develop their own perspectives and explore insights into real business situations.

Essential Entry Requirements

Graduate degree in any stream from universities and institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU (Students appearing in their final year can also apply) with minimum 50 % marks and valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score.


The 15 month Executive Post–Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Program is designed for mid-dle and senior working professionals, and entrepreneurs. These executives represent a group that is most difficult to manage and retain because not enough efforts are put to develop them.

The Program spans 15 months, with 12 months coursework (including four weeks of International Immersion in a business school of global repute in Europe/North America/ Philippines) followed by 3 months of dissertation work. In the International Immersion component, participants will attend lectures and undertake course work at the collaborating institution, visit in-dustries, interact with business lead-ers, attend workshops and explore various business opportunities.

Admission Eligibility

  • Any recognized Bachelors de-gree of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candi-dates belonging to reserved categories) in the qualifying Ex-amination.
  • A minimum of relevant 5 years managerial/supervisory experience.
