About SNAP Examination



  • SNAP or Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a mandatory test for admission to MBA colleges associated with Symbiosis International University.
  • There are 15 colleges under Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), and all comes under the head of Symbiosis International University.​​​​

The candidate may pay through

i) Billdesk Payment Gateway

ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway

iii) Indian Bank Payment Gateway

iv) Demand Draft.Pay the SNAP test fee of Rs.1750 as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of SNAP Test fee. (From August 28, 2018 to November 26, 2018).


Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the details of Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realisation of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.

NOTE: SNAP Test fee and institute programme payment is non-refundable.


SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2018

  • Graduate from any recognized / statutory University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution(issued on or before the date as stipulated by Symbiosis Institute) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.
  • A candidate who has completed qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign degrees/ qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any programme of SIU.

  • SNAP Test duration is of 120 minutes
  • Date: December 16, 2017; Time: 14.00 hrs. - 16.00 hrs.
  • SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has 4 responses (only for normal questions). Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Normal Questions carry 1 mark for each question and Special Questions , non MCQ type contain carry 2 marks for each question.
  • Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks for normal and  special questions both.
  • For special questions in each section will have blanks where answers will have to be entered by the candidate by using the virtual keyboard. For example, if question is “What is the capital of Australia?” The candidate needs to enter the answer as CANBERRA by using the virtual keyboard
